I personally have a 10 gallon tank with 5 SA Cichlids, a Beta and 3 African Albino Frogs. You can have as many Frogs as you want in the tank because Frogs don't depend on the water to survive. They come up to the surface. I find the tank to be relaxing when I just sit there and check out the creatures in it.

Also, since you haven't had a tank for a while, a word of advice. Make sure the tank is away from sunlight, like in the corner of a room or something because if it is exposed directly in the sunlight is causes the brown algae all over your tank, trust me its a mess.

Alright, got the tank set up, so we're just waiting for the temp to settle and the water to adjust. We'll pick up some fish on tuesday and we'll be all set.

One of my favorites (tri color shark) when I had a fish. Not aggressive and they live for a long time. Mine lasted 6 years and I moved them twice!

those things get too big for a 10g, you could maybe keep 2

They actually grow according to their surroundings. I started with one in a 10 gallon and got two more when I moved up to a 30.

That's a myth. If you feed them enough they will out grow the tank. Might take 2-3 years but if you keep them well fed, and healthy fish can outgrow tanks.
