    Need a huge favor; resume

Hey guys. Alright so here's the deal. I more or less have this internship wrapped up at The Boston Herald. It is the #2 paper here in Boston to the Globe.

Anyways, as a formality, I need a resume. As long as I don't fudge up the resume, I'm fine. I emailed one to myself awhile ago that I updated but I need some help formatting it because I don't have Resume Wizard or even Word on my computer. I have WordPerfect.

Would anyone be kind enough to put a little time and effort in to help format by resume but copying the information I will post and putting it where it needs to be? Then emailing me the attatchment so I can forward it to where it needs to be? I can literally cannot express how much I would appreciate this. If you can help and have a question on any of the things feel free to call me at that number.

I tried as hard as I could to format it so that it isnt a huge mess but it still kinda is.

Each "paragraph" is where the new section would be, with the first part being the title. For instance, Work Experience, Publications, Education, Objective are all titles.

Get Open Office. It's free and just as good as Word.

The official home page of the Apache OpenOffice open source project, home of OpenOffice Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw and Base.

Thank you. If I send a file as an Open Office can it be opened with Word?

If you save it as a .doc (or probably a couple other formats).

Right now it looks like an .odt.

I'm not too computer savvy. How exactly would that be done? I totally appreciate this bro.

I would edit out your cell phone number in your first post.

Yeah, I don't know if I'd include that. If you apply to a company directly online, obviously include it at that point if they are asking for it. Also, make sure you have a normal e-mail address on your resume (i.e. involving just your name @something.com) You'd be amazed at some of the e-mail addresses I've seen coming through our e-mail server at work from people applying for jobs. [email protected] isn't going to cut it.
