I owned an Eclipse before it was a chick car, a 1995 GSX...but yes, now, esepcially that body style is a chick's car. Might as well get a LeBaron Convertible for your next car.

Nice! that's a legendary car back in the day! AWD launch off the line was crazy in that car.

Anyway, i think mitsubishi wanted to make the new eclipse a chick car and put all the performance awd/turbo into the Evo. i guess if throw some rims on it, it won't be as bad but hey like everyone says, as long as it gets you to point B.

But as for me i like to get to point B quicker than everyone else.

Accords do too Nem. Any ways yeah that is a cool car. I say as long as it is not Pink, then it not a chick car!

Ever see the show "Yes Dear" on TBS. I watched a little bit the other night when Greg bought a Mazda Miata and was cruising around. Then he sees some girls in the same car as his, then he saw a little girl playing with Barbie and her car was the same as his, then he turned on the radio at it broke and got stuck on "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." Now that is a chick car. I wouldn't worry to much about an Eclipse.

LOL. I really enjoyed that show. Too bad it was taken off the air.

Any Car can be turned into a chick car depending on what you do to it.
Heck, any "chick car" can be turned around and made to look more like something a guy would drive.

In Raleigh, NC i see equal amounts of women and men driving Mustangs.

I also see an equal mix driving the new Eclipse's and the Hyundai Tiburon's.
Most of the women go for the bright colors where most of the guys are driving the darker meaner looking colored cars.

If you're going to get an Eclipse, at least get a 2nd gen. eclipse. What you're looking at (3rd gen) is beyond hideous!
