...and what do you think the focus is on here?

It started out as a sports videogame forum and that's the main thrust of it but it has grown to be one of the best places to talk sports.

I've heard about that site before, I can't remember where, but I know I've heard of it. I'll check on it.

That site sucks. Especially the heavy handed moderators of it. They are the WORST!! And I heard that they're on EA's payroll. Either them or 2K. Maybe both. But the mods are REALLY bad.

yeah, and 99.99% of the mods there don't appreciate the greatness of Snitsky either!

well OS is pretty good but sometimes slow unless something big is going on....

but honestly can't think of any really active forums for sports in general. Try armchairgm.com, its not a real message board format but its interesting

Are you guys serious? This place focuses mostly on gaming, and I was simply asking for another place to check out, but I guess you all gotta have your fun.

According to your profile, you've been here for 2.5 years. If it shocks you that this response would come based on that question... then you haven't been paying attention.

The answer to your question isn't an easy one. Most people find a whole group of different forums for each of their sports interests. If you're a Cubs fan (I'm assuming)... you'll probably have better luck finding a Cubs board. If you like Illinois Football... I'm sure they have some good boards around too.

It's not easy to find one central board that will be active in all sports. OS is actually pretty good in that regard... but I would strongly recommend finding one for each of your interests. I know I read a Lion's board... a couple U of M boards... an MMA board... Pistons... a couple specifically College Football... just poke around and find places you like.
