Re: Wisdom teeth
I had no pain either. I thought the surgery was pretty badass too. The laughing gas they gave me, made me feel like I was floating.Comment

Re: Wisdom teeth
Hey guys. So I've got to get my wisdom teeth out Wednesday, the 11th. They haven't caused me discomfort but I'm getting them out anyways. One side has impacted ones, one side doesn't.
So has anyone ever gotten these out before? Any tips on how to get better, deal with it, eat, drink? Anything at all?
Thanks.Comment

Re: Wisdom teeth
That was some good stuff!! My mother drove me home from the surgery and she said that I was in the passenger seat telling her how to drive. I guess I saw a 4 lane highway when we were on a 2 lane highway and was seeing double of everything. I kept asking her why there were twins everywhere.Comment

Re: Wisdom teeth
It's a piece of cake. Don't worry about it. I never even took the pain meds they gave me because it wasn't very uncomfortable.
My advice, eat lots of soft stuff so that you don't get food stuck in the holes where your wisdom teeth were. I basically ate mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese and soup.
I didn't use one of my pills, I didn't have much pain at all, but everyone's different.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Wisdom teeth
I didn't get the gas... but the procedure itself is painless. Lots of pressure, but no pain.
Just follow the instructions and it's pretty easy.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Re: Wisdom teeth
I had them out in high school, with two being impacted, and was outside the second night shooting hoops!
As everyone said, just take it easy the first day (you won't remember crap due to the pain killer haze), and don't force a lot of chewing or heavy food for the first 48 hours or so.

Re: Wisdom teeth
I've had wisdom teeth (and still do).My dentist told me that I never needed to remove them. They just started to poke out a little so that might change... but that, my friends, is why I avoid the dentist except for 1 day out of every 730.Comment

Re: Wisdom teeth
Well I was sure hhiiiiiiggghhh earlier this morning, but after I came home and slept it wore off and it hurts like a mama-jama. I've been numbing it down with a lot of ice and have drank a melty chochlate shake , water, and eating scrambled eggs and oatmeal.
I've been sleeping most of the day so I'm in for a long night I guess. I'm alos carrying a cup around with me to spit out blood which is still happening. Unfortunately I'm not supposed to spit so I'm actually opening my mouth and bit and having to let it ooze out. It's pretty sexy.
The worst part besides the pain is the stitches.
So how am I supposed to keep these areas 'clean'? Should I start salt-water already?Comment
