Kings Island

I just wanted to let everyone know that the new roller coaster (which is being advertised on this website) at Kings Island which is called the Firehawk is the best roller coaster I have ever been on!!!!
If you live near Kings Island I would suggest you get out there and try it out. It just opened last week and I went Sunday with my wifes work and had a great time!
One thing that caught me off guard was the small crowd at Kings Island on Sunday. We rode the Beast 3 times without even getting off the ride. The only ride that had any line at all was the Firehawk. I am not complaining but it just kind of surprised me how few people where there. Again we had a great time and I would encourage everyone to get to the Island!
By the way they have a new basketball game that is really cool. It is a version of the NBA 3 pt shootout, you get 5 shots from each corner and from the top of the key. It you hit 5 you get a mini NBA bball, if you hit 10 you get a regular size bball, and if you hit 12 you get a NBA jersey. I gave it a shot and hit 8 and got a mini Cavs bball!

I'm going to hit it up in the next few weeks. Hopefully there won't be much of a line for it when I go either.

Like I said I could not believe the lack of people there on Sunday, you should really get there and ride the Firehawk.

Yeah, I'm a coaster freak... so I love new ones. I haven't looked into it that much, but me and my summer league ball team want to go, so we're going sometime in the next two weeks. I've heard that it's pretty insane though.

i usually wait until the last full week they're open. by that time, most kids are in school and the park is near empty.

Technically it's not new, it operated at Geauga Lake in Ohio as X-Flight from 2001-2006. Paramount Parks was bought by Geauga Lake's parent company Cedar Fair, and they have since sent many rides to the newly acquired parks.

Also, if Firehawk is the best roller coaster you've ever been on, go north and you'll run into Cedar Point. 4 or 5 of the roller coasters there alone are better. I rode the ride when it was X-Flight, and I can't imagine it changing any.

It's been a while since I've been to Kings Island. I remember riding the Vortex, Beast and Racer (the car that went backwards). That's about it.

I 2nd Cedar Point though. I haven't been there in 5-7 years, but loved the Magnum and Raptor and Mean Streak when I went. I hated the Mantis though. It cramped up my calves about 1/2 way through the ride.

Been a couple of years since I've gone up to Kings Island. Lost count how many times I've been there over the years though. I'd like to get up there this year. It's only a 30-45 minute drive for me. It's been almost 20 years since I've been to Cedar Point. I remember riding the Corkscrew and, I think, THE Demon Drop. Just playin', JJ

I also ride THE new Son Of Beast for the first time since they took out the loop. That ride is still really shaky.
By the way there was alot of good looking scenery if you know what I meen.
Lots of short shorts and bikini tops!!!!

Its proper English to use the word "the" in front of a noun!
I simply stated that I liked THE Vortex, you do not say I liked Vortex.
