My problem is that I buy jerseys and then the players are traded less than a year or two later. Here's a few examples.

I bought a Jevon Kearse jersey and less than a year later gone to Philly

I bought an Eddie George jersey and soon after that he retired

I bought a Tom Fitzgerald home and away Preds Jersey-traded less than a year after I bought them.

I bought a Vinny Damphousse Canadiens jersey-traded two years after I bought it.

I bought a Sammy Sosa Cubs jersey-gone as well

I have stopped buying jerseys thankfully

Yeah.. it's the primary reason why I only deal with replicas.

Tracy McGrady (Orlando & East All-Star jersey) to Houston (which I have as well).

Willis McGahee Buffalo and traded to the Ravens.

I also have a Larry Johnson KC rookie jersey... when his number was "34".

Antoine Walker - Away Green ( back in 2002, then it became fashionable in 2005 after the trade back to boston)

Although he ain't a chump I have a Ty Law Patriots jeresy in 2004 before he was let go.

Keith Foulke Blue T-shirt Jersey before the ALCS, then in 2005 he never was the same and is retired...
