For those that might have been offended by something I said. I Apologize.
That's not what I'm trying to do.
I realize that we have some opinionated guys on here.
Some of which can freely say what they want without reprimand while others get a time out or ban.
Fair, no. Life, Yes.
I'll be giving myself a self imposed time-out.
I got my 2 infractions and I'm not fighting that.
I will say though... I'm not racist and I've never been a troll, my hair isn't frizzy enough.
I hope that you don't give people red cards for having unpopular opinions.
It's been stressful at work and in life lately.
I know everyone goes through it.
I've got two parents that are poor health. One with Cancer and the other with a Lung Disease - COPD which is in stage 2 out of 3. The thought of losing two parents is something that I'm not ready for.
The owner of my company where my brother, my father, and myself work at took out a million dollar life insurance policy on my father and is trying to "work him to death" so that way he can collect. He keeps taunting us with that too. My dad is trying to find another job, but at 61 with a serious health issue no one will hire him. If he leaves he has no health insurance and he can't get coverage on his own since he's got a "pre-existing condition." The owner has violated the Contract since he's refused to help co-pay my parents health bills awhich come close to 20k now. We can't afford to leave and sue.
My brother and I have to try and find a way to carry the boat.
If we leave, currently the best we can find are two jobs that total what one of us make. 40 grand for 4 adults... 20k worth of debt.. and parents with serious health issues... scary stuff guys.
I had been engaged, but my fiance decided that she'd be better off quiting her job and starting up her eating disorder again. Refuses to work. Refuses to go to school. Her mom lets her do what she wants and blames everything else, but her daughter for being Lazy. She even says that I need to be more patient after 2yrs. I give up on that. It hurts.
My long term girlfriend of 12yrs got married to a guy for money.
She was my best friend... To get sold out for money...
This guy makes 85k at age 28 and has millionaire parents.
She talks badly about my parents and myself now to people. It's upsetting to my parents since they gave her everything she had for 8yrs of 12yrs. They always told everyone that she was their daughter. Since the cancer treatments and the lung disease she's not even called once. All she does is talk about how hard it was to mooch and live for free off of them.
It hurts us since it was someone we loved for so long.
You start losing faith in people...
I look around at a lot of things. Our society and such. I see the posts that are made the entertainment thread about people and how crazy they've become.
I see the world news and how much our country is despised, yet we're called on for help every other minute.
I've got some friends that I've made through work who have legally come here from Poland, Togo, Mexico, and India. It's hard to sit and listen to them at how upset they are that other people get in for free, yet they've had to pay their way and put in their time to be legal citizens. Two of which had to pay $20,000 to be here.
Parents and Media blame our game industry for their crappy parenting skills. They act like "crazy people" don't actually exist anymore. That somehow they were pushed over the edge by a video game. Yet Movies are 100x vivid and surreal while games still have a ways to go on catching up.
So I get grief from people because I don't want to have kids and bring them into the Society that we have. I've been told by some of the very religious contingency at my work place that I'm going to hell since I'm not pro-creating for god. Ok. Where do I have the money for a kid? Where do I have the time? I might adopt one day, but going to hell for not having a kid??? *earmuffs*earmuffs*
So yeah.
I'm done here for a while in terms of posting.
Hell, I might not even post again.
The Vets of this board (going back to 2002-2003). You're the reason that i keep coming back.
This new pack of people that have migrated to OS lately have been very questionable.
I hope that you can weed out some of the bad apples.
The football forums are a mess. Each year it's been getting worse. Now it's filled with a bunch of people that you say, "who?" The nitpicking.
We used to have one dude that complained about socks, now we have dozens.
We used to have 2k guys vs Madden guys. Now we have a *earmuffs* storm of them.
I know you guys want this site to be respected, but right now you look at a lot of the threads and it's filled with so much fluff and garbage.
And Yeah... The Comet. Asteroid. Meteor. Chunk of the Moon.
What was my Rib. My thing. Stupid, crazy, yet slightly amusing.
And for the people here that like to talk about what God says is right or wrong in the science field:
Do you personally know god?
Do you personally know what his plan is for Humans?
Science is good, but just like with everything there are people that use it for Evil.
