I dont know whats wrong, i cant get on ign or gamespy. I type in the address and it just comes up a white screen like my internet is disconnected. i never had this problem before, i have internet explorer. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. thanks

Can you get to any website? If not then your browser has probably been hijacked. Run an Antivirus scan with whatever software you have.

i can get to any website except those two. thats whats weird. i can get to 1up, operationsports, gamespot, but not gamespy or ign. i have antivirus and i have never gotten a virus popup or anything. i scan regularly too.

are you running any ad blocker or java blockers? perhaps they were just down briefly for maintenance ... try back later.

yeah if not, i'd just re-download your browser and reinstall it and that will probably fix er up

alright thx for you guys help. I went on my computer in a different room and i was able to get on (not surprizing). Maybe i will try what odogg said and just re install the browser. It just sucks that its ign and gamespy that i cant get too. I go to those sites the most other than operationsports.

Obviously he could get to this one

I'd try a combination of reinstalling the browser, rebooting the computer, and waiting it out. That usually works to solve most computer problems.
