Spiders?

The spiders have been pretty bad this past summer here in Illinois where I live. I don't know if it's due to the humid summer that we have had or what it is anymore. These spiders are medium to larger sized. I kill about 2 a day the last few weeks.

I sprayed parts of the house + poured this a bad of this bug killer all around the perimiter of the house.

Uhh, the past week has been horrible in my house. We have daddy long legs size spiders (I don't think thats what they are but they are that size) and they usually show up in corners occasionally but the last week they have been everywhere. I seem to kill one or two off of a wall to have them replaced by new ones within a day.

These have daddy long legs. My wife and I can't figure out where in the world they are coming from.

Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of our spider population here. Hornets are a different story, there are so many of them around here it isn't even funny.

I live in Missouri and I have noticed more spiders this year than I have ever before. On the plus side I have only been eaten up by mosquitos once this year.

Since my last post I did a quick search of my house and killed 22 spiders, 20 of which were the same daddy long leg looking type. Bullcats, I too have noticed a lower mosquito population this year. I'll take harmless spiders over mosquitoes any day.

Now that you mention that Vinny, there are less mosquitos than there have been spiders this past summer. I wonder what has been causing all of this.

well considering that it's been almost a drought in many places, the mosquitos lack many places to breed, and bugs are drawn into homes.

well im in houston and there's live 20 flies that pass through this house every day

spider problem, meh havent seen one in awhile


just got bit a billion times by mosquitoes tho

I would freak if I saw spiders. I get creeped out by thinking about it.

There was a big black widow on the sidewalk in front of my house yesterday. I tried to kill it but it ran in the gutter. I sprayed Raid all over the opening and in the gutter so hopefully I killed it.

So I'm sitting here, look at the wall to my left and there is another spider nearly right where I killed one yesterday. Glad these aren't poisonous though, I would hate seeing a black widow *shudders*

maybe I need to go buy some spiders and release them in the house. I keep getting crickets in my apartment somehow, and they chirp all night. When I get up to kill them, they shut up.
