Does anyone play paintball here?

I just started playing, and had an absolute blast. One thing I was wondering is about all the different markers. Are the $1000 dollar guns, that much better then the 2-300 dollar ones.

It's been a few years since I've played but it was a great time when I did go. I don't know much about equipment since I've always rented mine. But the couple times I did go there would always be this group of people at the paintball place all decked out in the camo and the best equipment. These people looked real gung ho and serious. Me, I just went for the fun.

I've always rented the equipment when we've played. Last time we had a good, big game was 3 years ago (how time flies). We went to a place on the west side of Cleveland, where we had acres to play in. There was about 14 of us, teamed up against 14 other guys. It was pure war out there with paintballs flying everywhere. Played for about 6 hours straight. Had a blast, now you have me thinking to organize another game.

I went to a place called CPX in Joliet Illinois.

We had a group of 12 for my little brothers birthday, so we always got the maps to play ourselves. It was awesome.

Paintball is ridiculously fun. It gets very competitive and intense with the right group of people.

Is that Challenge Park? If so I've been there a couple times. Last time I was there they were building a city scene that looked like it would be pretty neat to play in. Sadly, that was the last time I was there so I missed out on that.

I went to an indoor one in Glenwood when I was in high school, definitely felt that outdoor paintball was more fun than playing indoors. Pretty funny until my company moved us out to Woodridge last year I actually worked down the street from that place.

Yeah I think CXP is the old challenge park. That Town level was great doin building sweeps.

I've never played but I watched the college paintball semi-finals (or something) the other day and it was sweet! It's a great sport and the best thing is no1 gets injured.

Yeah that is blast, I played a couple times. Once in the snow and once in my friend back year, his back yard is huge. They do hurt when you get hit on the flesh. lol

One of my freinds is semi pro and plays in the PSP lg, and has played on espn, ect. His team in ranked in the top 10 out of over 1,000 teams.
