9th graders? I'm going to be a counselor on the 9th grade trip and we need to have some activities planned for the downtime. Do any of you guys have any suggestions? I figured a place for OS would be a good place to go to. BTW its an all-boys cabin, but we may need group activities for the whole class as well.

Flag Football, Kickball, Ultimate Frisbee.
Basically any kind of pick-up sports game. I'd assume most teenage boys would be into sports.
Or if you are in a confined place, maybe bingo? -

I'm thinking maybe some Trivia Pursuit or some other Q&A game (or board games in general). MAFIA is amazing, we played that all the time in my 5th hour last school year. We ended with a bang on the last day too. Someone threw a dry ice bomb outside our class when the mafia was choosing who they wanted to kill. Its a good game espically if the narrator is creative.Comment

Teach them to play poker. The correct rules and such. They may not appreciate it at the time, but they will when their friend embarrasses himself with some nonsense one day in the future.Comment
