When it came time for my 10 year reunion I didn't know there was one much less when or where it was. I guess my invitation got lost in the mail

I went to an all-guys, Catholic high school. At our 5-year (2000) we went to a game against a big rival, which the team lost, went down into the cafeteria at the school where a keg was waiting, proceeded to watch college football, intoxicate ourselves, shoot dice, and play cheese coney baseball with empty two-liter bottles. At my 10-year (2005) we attended another game, which the team won this time, went to the cafeteria, toured the new school, and had a bean bag/baggo/cornhole game tournament. We matured a little I guess between those two reunions. I imagine one of these years wives and girlfriends will become involved. Some guys I really didn't get along with in high school have changed a lot over the years and are actually pretty cool now. You'll have fun, MassNole. You'd hope whatever happened in the past will just stay there and people have grown up by now.

I went to my 10 year.. it was ehhh.. my best friend in HS moved away, so the last time I spoke to him was my second year of college - he wasn't there... another one of my HS buds I learned died.. it was still the same "clickiness" groups in my HS, just older

My 10 year is next spring, but I really don't care. Not worth flying back, I'd probably have gone if I was still living nearby. I keep touch with anyone from HS I wanted to, and it was an all guys HS, so no "hot chick watch" haha.

I've never had any reuinion (it's not that common in my country), but I realized one thing: if u don't feel comfortable doing something - don't do it. As simple as that, no matter what other people would say/think. If u don't feel comfortable going to that reunion or meeting some people - simply don't go there. Unless you're planning to meet some guys and get in touch with some after the reunion, u won't even remember it after a few days IMO.

My HS reuinion was last month. I would of went but unfortunately I didn't graduate. Would of made for some awkward moments.

Old HS Bud: Umm...I dont recall you walking across the stage with us.
                  Me: Umm...sure I did. I just didn't umm.....
Old HS Bud: Didn't you get demoted?
Me: No, of course not, I just umm....
Old HS Bud #2: He wasn't even in the yearbook
Me: Yea, I was there...somewhere in the umm....
Old HS Bud: How did you get an invitation if you didn't...
Me: *throws bottle of magic smoke on the groud and vacates the premises*

I've run into a few old HS friends every so often. Even without graduating, I've seemed to do better than the ones I've met. I would of liked to go just to catch up with a few old friends....mainly that hot cheerleader I was scared to approach back in the day.

                    Re: High School Class Reunions.....

I missed my 10-year reunion because my oldest son, who was an infant at the time, was sick in the hospital... I heard from a few people who went that people were asking about me. My graduating class was almost 1,000 people, so I definitely was curious about seeing what happened to people. Ironically, a girl I went to school with moved down to Raleigh, and our sons were in the same first grade class last year. She's spearheading our 20-year reunion (damn I feel old typing that), and I'm definitely looking forward to attending that. I heard our school is going to be torn down and replaced (it's over 80 years old, I think) as part of the Atlantic Yards (Brooklyn Nets' new arena) project in downtown Brooklyn. I'll miss the old place; I think I'll go up and get a brick or something as a keepsake.

I hope I don't get hit with a Red Card for this...

But mine is coming up, the 10yr...

                      I'm wearing a shirt that says, "3 down ... 71 to go."
Since we've had 3 kids from our class die.
And yeah, we only had 74 kids in our entire class. I lived in a small town.

My ex-girlfriend who I dated for 10yrs will be there with her rich husband. It should make for an interesting time since she knows how much of a smart alec that I am and the fact that there is NOTHING that I won't say.

It's been interesting to see some people sign my "book" on classmates.com that I never thought would. That was kind of nice, but it wins no brownie points now. Back then, yeah, but now, not a chance.

I'm glad that some of you got to have fun at yours.
