My psychotic neighbor...

Man this guy drives me nuts every fall... and it usually takes some work to get under my skin.

Everyday, exactly at 7:00 this guy will go outside with the leaf blower and turn it on and walk around his front lawn for an hour. His front lawn is small, about half the size of mine and I do mine in like 20-30 minutes every 2-3 weeks. And the people that do my grass, when they do it, it takes them like 10 minutes. But this guy is out there for an hour.

But the thing is, by his area there are not too many leaves so he is done in about five minutes but he just continues walking around blowing nothing.

And he seriously has the loudest leaf blower I have ever heard, I know this is a random rant but this guy is seriously crazy.

If he did this at 4 or 5 if wouldn't be so big but he does it at 7 every freaking day in the fall... and to top it off he only does it when it's pitch black...

Seriously, just go out there one day and explain that 7:00 A.M. is a little early to be doing any work in the yard that makes noise.
There might even be an ordinance in your town that prohibits noise from work before a certain time(could be 8 AM...but that's better), if the guy seems uncooperative.
I feel your pain. I have a neighbor who decided he didn't want any pine trees on his property. MY VACATION HOME IS IN A FRIGGIN' FOREST IN UPSTATE N.Y.!!!, so everyday....early this guy would start. I just walked over one day and said that it was a bit early and hearing it EVERYDAY was a bit taxing.
He apologized and eased up a bit.

Is it 7:00 in the morning, if so call the police. I am sure there is a law about making noise is the morning. If it is 7:00 in the night, I don't know what to tell.

Noise violation here in Vegas can happen anytime of the day. I would talk to him first though before you go the HOA or police route. On calls I always keep the person who called anonymous on parties/noise complaints, but usually it's not to hard to figure out who called...which can lead to bad blood down the road.

As for neighbors I have a horrible one as well, all though it's gotten better. He has an unregistered car with fake plates that is the biggest piece of crap ever. Leaks oil everywhere, always breaks down...but the main problem is that he has a huge sound system in it. He will sit in the driveway and smoke cigarettes and play it so loud that it rattles my windows. Absolutely drives me crazy. Ten houses on my street, everyone of them is a family or couple who are really cool...then one jerk who wrecks it. It's a rental home as well so maybe he will be gone soon.

No, no, no it's 7:00 p.m. But still it is really annoying especially after a long day at work, and then after dinner you just want to relax.

Noise violation here in Vegas can happen anytime of the day. I would talk to him first though before you go the HOA or police route. I tried conversing with him before about something else... can't really carry a conversation with him. Just one word responses or whatever. That whole family is pretty weird though.

I can vouch for the sound problem as well. There was some 30 something year old still living with his parents. He used to park his old Cadilliac outside, open all the windows and doors and bump the system. Someone called the cops though, rumor on the street was his parents. Haven't seen him too much since.
