I don't see a problem with reboots. If it sucks you still have the original to watch right? Like Hollywood cares and have to nurture our precious memories.

I have mixed feelings on reboots.

I grew up loving TMNT. I doubt this next movie will live up to my expectations... But damn suddenly my five year old son is interested in Ninja Turtles. There's no way that's a bad thing.

People complaining that the cast of Big Bang Theory asked and got almost $1 million per episode. Whether or not the show actually sucks, 20 million people still tune in every week and I imagine the each season generate hundreds of millions of dollars.

Yeah I don't get why anyone would complain about them getting their $$. Considering how much money that show produces that's probably still a bargain for CBS

That every NFL "analyst" insists on saying "football" whenever referring to a player, team, or the league.

I think everyone understands that Aaron Rodgers is a football player, and that he plays for a football team in the National Football League.

Right now what is really grinding my gears is Verizon. Beyond the billing issues where they said their auto bill pay was broken and forgot to tell me for a month so I owed both months at once, I am also extremely annoyed they have not struck a deal with the SEC Network.

Here's my answer to that. Yes, the President of the United States, teachers, police officers, should all be getting paid more than Sheldon, actors and sports figures.

But wait, there's more... The problem with that thought has always been where does the money come from. It's not about which job is more important. You know why the actors on Big Bang Theory can ask for and get a million bucks an episode? Because every time they put out about twenty minutes of screen time, millions of dollars start rolling in for CBS. The money is there for them to ask for. It's not like they robbed a bank for that money.

Wanna know why sports figures can get the money they get? Because every time they go to work, there's 15-20,000 people paying money to watch them work.

Do people pay to watch Obama do his job? Nope.

Now wait, before I get some backlash, I'm an elementary school teacher. I get paid peanuts and a bag of apples. Do deserve a higher pay for shaping the youth of my community while also having to deal with the problems of the school system and also having to be a father to a child who's mother sends him to school without breakfast or without dinner the night before which thus forces me to feed this kid in the mornings, out of my own pocket, so he doesn't become an emotional wreck and start fighting with the kids around him? Hell yes I deserve a little more compensation.

But where's that money gonna come from? Not that I'm saying this is right, but for teachers to get a good raise the same way actors and sports stars do, you'd have to charge each student/their parents every time they walked into the classroom.

You are absolutely right the cast of Big Bang Theory doesn't need that much money compared to other more important jobs. But it's not as simple as taking their compensation and giving it to others. If the money is there and the cast asked for it then more power to them for getting it.

The others work, but this doesn't. Unfortunately we can't get into specifics, but I dislike privatization of necessities. Plus, there is more than enough money to adequately fund education, health care, etc, but all the money gets funneled into other pockets and wasted.

You are preaching to the choir. Most of OS is considerably more enlightened than the rest of the population. I was just answering why anyone would complain about the amount of $$ they got.

Purchases being backordered. I ordered something and it was already gonna take awhile to get here, now it's suddenly backordered and I might have to wait till end of summer to get it! Sucks too how they never even sent me an email saying it was backordered, I just checked the order status and it was suddenly changed to that.

If I can,might just cancel order if I can find a store with same(if not similar) stuff.
