Is it really that hard to find a contractor who'll say they'll do work during a certain timeframe for a certain amount of money,and have all that actually be true?

Yes. I work with contractors all the time, and they never have their stuff straight. When they don't communicate with their customers, the customer calls me and wonders why I'm behind. It becomes a circle and it takes forever to get them power.

Man, you guys apparently know some ****ty contractors. The one I worked for/now live with and the few I met through him never had any of those problems.

My commute. I get to drive 20 minutes out of a cool vibrant city to drive to a strip mall infested suburb. It's not the length, it's the removal of anything interesting.

You guys don't use Tapatalk? There's a free version, which I haven't found to be much different than the paid version I had.

There's maybe one ad, if that, and it's not obtrusive at all.

I do, but occasionally I'll read a link from Twitter or something that links to the desktop page and I can usually barely scroll down because ads lock up my screen.

Everybody's dragging their feet.

Landlord asked my boss if he wouldn't mind calling the AC guy.
Pretty sure the AC guy didn't order the part until yesterday (when my boss called him again).
AC guy said he would call back - hasn't called in two days.

Fun times.
