Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

People who use Apple products, and then bash non apple products, acting like Apple stuff is the greatest stuff ever, and things like android devices, windows computers among other things, are too complicated to use and inferior to apple.

Ironically, I actually find using things like windows and android devices to be alot easier than apple lol. When some people I know have problems on their apple computers, I always tell them to figure it out on their own, cause I know nothing about using Macs and stuff. I'd help if it was a windows computer(though I don't like windows 8 lol), but definitely not mac.

On the other side of the coin. Android and Microsoft users who act like people who buy iPhones are sheep and that they suck.

People say oh android already makes a large phone. I really don't care what android does. I bought my 6 Plus because I like iPhones. My laptop is a HP because I like HP and Windows. Some people care way too much about what people buy.

But yes Windows 8 can die in a fire. I want my 7 back

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Both of my roommates' inabilities to grasp the concept of platonic friendship with a girl.

One of my coworkers has, over the course of this year, become one of my best friends in the world. Lately we've taken to talking to each other on Facebook almost constantly. I think yesterday I sent her something stupid at like 3pm and I don't think we stopped talking until 3am. And every day for the last week has been pretty much like that.

So naturally my roommates are constantly giving me **** about dating her and "GET ON THAT BRO!" and whatnot. If I try to explain to them that it's not like that, it goes in one ear and out the other and they just go right back to it. She's been in a relationship for 8 years with someone she met in high school and for once my brain is able to successfully process that and not catch feelings. We'll see how long that lasts, but so far so good.

It's annoying. Stuff like that pops up occasionally and reminds me how much older I am than them. Not that 5 years in the grand scheme is a lot, but the difference between 25 and 20 is pretty stark.

He's aware and is cool with it.

I don't know why he's cool with it, but apparently he is. My guess is it's because he's seen me in person. BAM. SELF BURN.

My neighbor that only seems to want to tell me what to do with my yard and be a rude dick by saying that my back yard is in bad shape.

Listen here Tim, 1) I have dogs that pee back there, its not brown patch 2) i mow it regularly, more than most...including yourself as of late 3) most importantly...ITS MY MOTHER F***ING YARD, I DONT CARE IF IT LOOKS BAD AS LONG AS MY FAMILY AND DOGS ARE HAPPY! MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS!

...okay, glad to let that out. Seriously the guy only talks to me about the grass and every time he makes some c**ty remark basically telling me my yard is awful, which it really looks fine and is better than most in the neighborhood. I'm sorry I work for a living and don't spend every day giving my yard a spa day, I'd rather spend my time away from work with my wife/family/friends than making love to my grass.

Good lord. Sister-in-law is coming to town this weekend and trying to book a hotel the night before they drive down. Shockingly, the hotels are booked.

Then she has the nerve to ask my wife 1)if they can stay with us or 2)can we book a little more expensive hotel for them. Wife knows better of course.

Should be an amazing weekend for me.

I know I had the need to oversexualize EVERYTHING at 20 years old. You need to have sex with every woman you come into contact with or its a waste of time was how I viewed relationships with women. 20 year old me could not fathom have an affinity for a chick where sex was not the end game.

Just don't mess up by developing feeling for her. We don't need anymore "Help! Stuck in the Friends Zone" threads.

I have a friend in an HOA that constantly got letters with remarks about his yard. He finally had enough and went to zeroscaping. The HOA told him he couldn't do that, but the State of Texas says otherwise.

I could almost understand IF my yard was indeed in bad shape but it is not at all. I think he's just socially awkward and doesnt realize that his comment and approach was rude. Its like he thinks that is how to start a conversation, no pleasantries or small talk, just jumps right to him implying my yard looks like **** and that I am incompetent in maintaning a yard up to his standard.

We have considered xeriscaping in the back since we are having trouble with the grass there since it has a slope and it does not hold water well, the clay soil here doesnt help.

Here is the area in thr spring, the hill is where the grass is dieing/dead now...
