People that can't handle their booze. Even worse is when they KNOW they can't handle, and get clobbered anyway. Then they wonder why no one wants to drink with them

I wish I could teach a class on how to pace yourself, and understanding your limits. Everyone should be able to recognize when they've had enough.

Motivated by the in-laws, I am annoyed by those who don't have children, treat their pets like children. My wife and I were definitely guilty of this before our son - and now I realize how idiotic it looks to those who do have children, wow.

Also, my sister in law is a big know it all when it comes to dogs - but she needs a Cesar Milan 101 lesson or something because she has no idea how to raise anything, including herself. That's my rant!

I know plenty of people out here who have kids and still treat their pets as kids. My wife does it, she has a son and her whole bloodline does it and they all have kids. So does all my neighbors that live around me. Hell even more weird, to me anyway is some of them call their dog's puppies, grand kids.

Lol. I kid you not last night my sister in law scolded my father in law for not spending enough time with his grand son (her puppy). It turned into a very awkward conversation, that I creeped away from.

Yeah I remember the 1st time I went to my in laws house and they asked if I said hi to their grand daughter. I said where is she, I don't see any babies or toddlers around here. They were talking about a damn kitten

I know a lot of people who treat their pets like kids, but I never heard of anyone refer to their pet as a " grandchild "

Haha I'm guilty. If I take my dog with me to my Mom's house I'll say "wanna go see gramma?" and he starts bouncing around.

What's wrong with treating your dog like a child? I don't get it. How are you supposed to treat them? I'm asking a genuine question, not trying to be smart.

My wife calls our dog our "four legged child"

I don't talk like that, but I treat my dog better than I do most people.

My girlfriend and her family are definitely like this. No kids yet, but two of the couples have dogs, and several people refer to them as grandchildren. I think they kinda say it to be funny, because they're all at the age where children is a very real possibility soon, but they're definitely dog people. Both couples bring their dogs to the family outings.

I definitely call my cat my baby, but I'm not all serious about it like some of the people described in here.

My dogs will always be my puppies. Some people are way more serious about it than I am but why does it matter what people put their affection towards. It's just love, people need to express it somehow and it's much better than expressing bitterness and anger all the time.

At least these dogs are loved rather than being neglected or abused.

It's one thing to consider a pet part of the family(which depending on the extremeness of it,I don't mind people doing at all). But it just seems stranger when they give their pet "human names".

I love human names for pets, I think it's hilarious. There was a cat that hung out in my apartment in college. It wasn't actually our cat, but we had food for it and let it hang out when it wanted to. I don't know the name the cat's owner called it, but we called him Frank.
