Sadly, it's been like that for a while.

For whatever reason, some people think getting drunk, high, etc and how much of it they did, is something to brag about to others.

I don't really understand why that is, either.

It's because the media, songs, movies, peers etc make it cool to drink and to an extent do drugs. This isn't something new. This has been around for many decades and it's obvious as to why it's considered cool regardless if we agree with it or not.

I work in a job where you're pretty much expected to drink and to an extent looked down upon if you don't.

Not to mention the hype is deserved. It's the ****ing Super Bowl.

I don't get it either. Third most important sports event of the year in sports to me, assuming my Bucs aren't involved (hahahaha....... ).

I'm in the military. It's a bit different now as they are cracking down on stuff. If you get a DUI you can't reenlist and no drinking 12 hrs before work but the stereotype is still very alive. It also varies by the unit you're at. Being on a boat is very different than being on land.

After thinking about it, you're right. All of this stuff kinda portrays it in such a light.

Going back to gear grinding NBA 2K online. People who constantly pause the game over and over.

People who expect random online games to have any type of unspoken understanding to play the game fairly.

Every single game. Every single cycle. There will be an exploit or cheap method.

It's been happening to me as long as I've been gaming, joining a game and having a host or other player complain "you shouldn't use this, it's a noob ____". Like the MP5 in COD 4

I've always felt weird about not drinking, especially as someone in their late 20's. It's not a holier than thou type of thing, just not interested in alcohol and have a family history of cancer from people heavily drinking. Even going out with friends you get some weird looks.

The rule about prescriptions only being valid for a year pisses me off and I'd like to limit the number of times I have air blown directly into my eyes

I am in the wrong business.

I should be manufacturing copier ink.

The amount of ink purchased over the lifetime of a printer = 10 new printers.

Would you expect a pharmacy to fill a prescription a doctor wrote for you a year ago?

It would be a refill right? I took my prescription and ran out of pills, so I went in for a refill, just like if I wore disposable contacts until I ran out, but I can't get a refill I have to pay for a complete exam again.
