Yeah but they don’t eat the pickles. They have “other uses” for it.

This anti-pickle sentiment is clearly a Russian plot and I will not stand by and have my country and pickles taken over by godless heathens.

Pickles are awesome. Pittsburgh has an annual pickle festival called "Picklesburgh". Dunno where ryan36 is, but he'd probably ban you guys for bad-mouthing pickles.

Also, just a friendly reminder to take it easy on the political references.

I love Picklesburgh and since I work downtown I can go down on my lunch break every year when it starts on Friday.

The only thing I hate is that I get claustrophobic since it's just on the bridge. I wish part were on the bridge but also spread elsewhere.

I am eating a pickle right now to honor your horrifyingly un-American trash post. You truly have to be a soulless monster to not like pickles. I am offended that we even root for the same baseball team now.

Au contraire...we are but a peaceful pickle-loving people, with salty (or sweet as per countryboy) crunchiness to tide us over all our days. Meanwhile, you pickle-haters act out your socioeconomic anxieties on the poor, innocent pickle in a truly misguided way.

I can enjoy a pickle like the rest of them.

But keep these slimy things off my Chick-Fil-A sandwich.

I don't put pickles on anything. I don't even think about pickles 99% of the time. When I was a kid I use to go to the liquor store and buy spicey jumbo pickles. That was like a spring and summer time thing to do in Chicago. Hit the liquor store up, buy that spicey jumbo pickle and a 3 liter pop.

Now my wife's bloodline, especially her sister, they always serve bread and butter pickles with dinner, no matter what dinner is. That will never stop being odd to me.

Way back in college I used to buy my roommate pickles as a random treat, he'd buy me cheese popcorn as a treat. Cheese popcorn was more expensive. I win.

                      Cucumbers are fine.

It's the dill and vinegar that repulse me.

I'll take cucumbers, radishes, and carrots and cut them up and place in a bowl with Italian dressing. So damn good.
