Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
What's weird to me about the close talkers is that they have no self awareness.
I'll back away hoping he/she understands that means you're too close but they just move closer and closer.
It's like they're telling you a secret that no one else can hear when they are talking about the game last night.Comment

Growing number of people seem to not grasp the concept of personal space.

I don't like people right up by me when eating a meal at the table tbh.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I eat too fast, I don't want people telling me to slow down. I don't want to be around other eaters who are chit chatting and I'm done within 2 minutes and have to sit around while others finish and chat.
I don't want to bite into food and have a glob of condiment get on my face, which I'm aware of, and have people point it out to me. I know it's there, I'm trying to chew my mouthful, give me a moment.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I don't know that I ever ate slowly, but with off-campus lunch periods in high school I learned to really eat quickly. It's been almost 20 years since then but it's just my default speed now.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I eat fast because I require most foods I consume to be hot.
I know some people who don't care about the temperature of their food and it boggles my mind.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Same, I blame eating fast on 12 years + of school lunches and having to down food in a short time period.Comment

It grinds my gears that OS doesn't have a politics section or at least a thread. I understand the rationale for why, but still.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

The fact that this illicits anger in you is a good reason, by itself, for OS to never have a politics section. The next 8-9 months are going to be hell enough without people on this site being divided and angry at each other as well.Comment

I guessed since it was the title I used it, but the tone of this thread is more of a "here are my pet peeves" or whatever.
