My brother does that A LOT, telling me to watch things I'm not interested at all and telling me to watch it like if it was an order.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Something that grinds my gears is 'environmentally friendly' products like lights, toilets and showers that do a terrible job.
A few examples:
1. I'm staying at a motel for a few days at the moment for work and the room is way too dark even with all of the lights on. There a 5 different light switches and lamps in the room and even with all of them on it's still just 'mood lighting' at best and hard to read by. I mean I know they are trying to save power but wouldn't it be more energy efficient to have one bright light that actually worked rather than me having to turn on 5 power saving ones that still don't light the room properly?
2. Water saving showers. Sounds good in theory but usually the water pressure is so poor you end up needing to shower for twice as long to get clean.
3. Water saving toilets. I built a new house less than 12 months ago and the plumber told us we should install water saving toilets that use 20% less water each time you flush. Now even when someone does a piss they have to flush the toilet on full flush at least twice so that negates any water saving and just makes it annoying.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
This makes me mad at my apartment because the pressure is horrible and the landlord has some kind of industrial strength adhesive on the shower head so I can't replace it with a better one. The part that makes me mad though is it's 2.5 gpm which is the exact same as the low flow head I bought for my last place, but you can still get good pressure from it because you can adjust the number of pores that are used. The one that's currently in the shower loses half the water through the low tub faucet anyway. It's like a slightly improved version of chinese water torture.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

People who interrupt my sleep. This includes:
1.) Text messages or phone calls at 6 am asking common questions that could easily be resolved with a simple search. Just because you have to get up at the **** crack of dawn doesn't mean I already am.
2.) People who wake me up in the morning. 9 am on a Saturday and you knock and walk into my room like "Oh, I didn't know you were sleeping." Get the f... out of here
3.) People who see me doze off and stare and laugh at me when I wake up. What the hell is so funny about this? I'm sitting on my hind parts watching football all day and I get sleepy and all of a sudden it's comedy?

Seems like a chip off the ol' block to me!
I know I've mentioned this before, but I'm saying it again. People who parade babies around an office at work. One public viewing away from men who are trying to work would suffice. Shrieking women for an hour straight makes me want to jump out the window.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 11-16-2011, 04:28 PM.Comment
