    No, that would be the Twins.

    I gave up caring about the stadium talk months ago. Good thing too, for my health's sake.

          Oh stop it. They have already won two more games this year than I thought they would. And we have Willingham.

              The sudden emergence of hockey fans the past week in my area. Every one of them didn't give a crap about the Preds 2 weeks ago so why the hell are they "huge fans" all the sudden. It really grinds my gears when people don't care about a sport/team until the playoffs.

                YES.

                Piggybacking off of this, it's amazing how many new Flyers "fans" there were around campus once the playoffs started.

                    When you're wiping your nose with some tissue and try to use another side of it, it's cold with the snot from the previous wipe.

                      It's annoying, but think of all the money these people are going to spend by buying t-shirts. When the Mavericks won it all I saw people who I thought didn't even knew the Mavs existed posting pictures of them in their championship shirt. That ultimately helps the team out. I think this was for the Rangers, but one girl was literally standing in line for a shirt before the game was even over. There were hundreds of people at an Academy who weren't even watching the game, they just wanted to buy the shirt..........

                        So far this year, Mobil On The Run has failed to come up with a 6 is a serious number jingle. All they have to show for this year is a dumb commercial.

                                Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

                                My friends and I have been trying to set up one of my buddy's with women because he is so clueless. He's a real nice guy, had a decent career and all but just struggles with the fairer sex.

                                After trying to set him up a few times one thing that I have noticed that grinds my gears and I imagine would grind the gears of lots of single guys is that women often seem to fall into two categories:

                                1. Attractive women who are so up themselves it's not funny and so dumb they can barely have a conversation and;

                                2. The reverse of that who are girls with great personalities and a sense of humour who are so unattractive (like they don't even seem to try, bad hair, bad skin, overweight etc) that no guy would want to date them.

                                Obviously the holy grail is the good looking girl with a great personality though it honestly seems more and more likely to see the opposite which is the ugly girl who is up herself (think Snookie) and has a massively inflated ego.

                                Obviously not all women are like this but it does seem harder than I remember finding girls who are attractive and have a great personality than it used to in the past.

                                Probably a strange post coming from a guy who has been happily married for 7 years but I gotta say I don't envy you single guys sometimes.
