This....I realize drivers already on the highway have the right-of-way and don't have to move over to allow a merge, but if there's nobody else around, why not move over to the left lane for a few hundred feet and remove any chance of there being an accident (either on the merge itself or from the person merging being forced to slow down and possibly get rear-ended by another car on the entrance ramp)

Now the Parks and Rec Dept of my town has decided that the public should not be able to use any pitching mounds. I found this afternoon that the only field with a mound open to the public has had it's mound leveled.

They just don't seem to understand.

        More softball for everyone!

Girls that won't ask guys out because it's expected that the guy will ask her out. Seriously.

Going through that right now. But mainly because I won't man up and say anything.

All I'll say is that getting asked to prom by a girl was the lowlight of my senior year.

We (guys) take for granted the control of the situation provided by being the askers rather than the ask-ed.

I wonder if using the word for it on OS would be considered profanity since **** is censored but fart is not.

I actually had a girl ask me to go to prom with her this year. I felt like a horrible person when I said no. It amazes me how girls can say no with a clear conscience but when I reject a girl I feel like I just stomped all over her soul.

That's my story exactly. I felt awful.

That point in life when your parents can't answer all of your questions anymore. Or that point when your parents can't help you with your homework anymore, especially math homework.
