Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When someone asks you a question and then right after you give them an answer they go and ask someone else.
That happened to me yesterday. I overheard him asking the same question to someone else, and he got the same answer.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

The fact that every time I pop in a brand new game (doesn't even have to be a day old), I have to download at least a small patch.
Happened with Max Payne 3 and now I'm downloading one for Ghost Recon. I know it's not a lengthy download and usually just some sort of server deal, but it's still annoying to be hyped for a game and then have to download something.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

When you are playing basketball, you go up for a rebound and come down on someone's foot and end up slightly rolling your ankle as a result.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Dunno if this happens to anyone else but when I play pickup basketball there's usually 3 courts in the gym and for whatever reason, everybody wants to play at the same effing court. We could have 20 people in the gym, enough for 2 separate games, but people rather wait for "next after next" than play on another court.
And also people who are shooting by themselves and refuse to play in pickup games when we only need one person.[NYK|DAL|VT]

It took me up until a couple months ago to finally roll my ankle(I'm 22) so I have been lucky. Of all things it was when I was back peddling back to the other end of the floor.Comment

There are 6 courts in the rec at Cincinnati, almost all the time the courts are full (except later at night and the morning). About 5 or 6 o'clock is the most populous time. Of course there are 2 or 3 people that want to play volleyball, so they get the net out and tell us we have to move. Really, 3 people get priority of 10?Comment

When you're at the beach and the loudest, biggest tools on the beach decide to set up right beside you. Then they commence to drinking heavily, playing crappy music, cursing loudly and talking about drugs non-stop.
It's one thing if it's crowded and they have no choice, but there was plenty of other open spots for them to pop a squat, then that's what grinds me gears. Plus, it was so peaceful and relaxing until they got there...

I really don't play basketball anymore, but when I did go, I mostly went to shoot around. There's no rule that says if you go on the ball courts, you have to play a game.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment
