Piggybacking off this one.
I have 2 that involve Wal-Mart. 1)Their price checker machines are ALWAYS out of order and
2)They have about eight self check outs and six of them are out of order. Fix your stuff!Comment

More time spent in the store = more money spent.
Wal-Mart is always the king of using as few employees as possible to run the store. Its just another way to make them one of the most profitable companies in the world. They don't worry about thefts, employee efficiency, moral, et al. They're run on the dollar and for the dollar.

Using that same sign, people who don't actually stop for pedestrians.
Irks me so much. Just two days ago, I stopped to let a guy cross, and this bitch behind me jumps to the right (one lane but enough on the right to cross) and passes, if the dude just started crossing, she would have hit him.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I've had that happen too. Stopped to let a pedestrian cross from my left, the driver behind me swings around to my right to pass. She blew right by the pedestrian who was just about to cross in front of my car. Luckily the pedestrian was aware and stopped before he could get run over by the idiot driver.Using that same sign, people who don't actually stop for pedestrians.

Take this picture for instance. (It's a pretty busy street that I take home after I get off the bus) (attached)
Too many times, being it is 4 lanes, one guy will stop while no one else follows.Attached FilesComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When you are second in line at a stop light, you are waiting to turn right and the car in front of you is waiting to go straight or left... but they are stopped so far over to the right so you can't get by them to turn right on the red. So you have to wait out the light when if they had just stopped a little further to the left you could easily squeeze by them on the right.Comment

Oh they worry about theft......They just pin it on the store associate and use it to fire them right before they hit their 1 yr of working there so now we have to pay them health insurance date.More time spent in the store = more money spent.

But everything else is spot on.....all they care about is profit. At the Walmart out here, they have 2 associates in charge of 6 departments. That is a hell of a lot of territory to cover with 2 people.Comment

People that think every single associate at Lowe's should know 100% about every single item in the store and get mad when you have to call the person who actually works in that department to come over.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I've never heard of this happening before. Nowadays they give them 32 hours and tell them they're part time. Plus, they actually budget in thefts, but will restrict the store's resources (no more greeters, faulty equipment, etc) in an effort to "save money". Meanwhile, when stores "shrink out" more than their budget they place the blame on management or more specifically the recently invented position of "zone managers" (another wage cutting feature across the board).Oh they worry about theft......They just pin it on the store associate and use it to fire them right before they hit their 1 yr of working there so now we have to pay them health insurance date.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
While we're complaining about drivers...
When you are about to turn onto another street, you have your blinker flashing, and you're slowing down to turn, and the person behind you still decides that he/she/it has to go around you and speed into the next lane to get around you, even though it's a double yellow.
Also while at an intersection that requires the driver in the turn lane to yield to oncoming traffic before turning, those people that turn and cut the oncoming traffic off grind my gears.Last edited by NinerFan1983; 06-01-2012, 05:40 PM.Comment

On Facebook...
Those stupid *** pictures "Like if you agree with..." "Like if you are happy for..." "Like if you care about ... ignore if you don't" I get the meaning, but for crying out loud, stop spamming everybody's newsfeed with this garbage already. It comes up on mine because of random people who like the pictures.
And the moronic posts that follow it "Like my comment and I'll share the first 1000 people"
I hate that crap.Comment

You forgot the:
"If you're my true friend repost what I am about to type right now"
And
People who tag themselves to shoes and other clothing objects of stuff they can't afford.
And
People who leave vague status updates of what they are going to do but type it in a way that it is going to be the greatest thing ever.Comment
