Going to be an odd one but this has happened to me on more than one occasion now so..
When you're eating Scrambled Eggs and you get a sneeze that you just can't hold back; so little flakes of chewed scrambled egg go flying everywhere. Disgusting, and impossible to clean up.Minnesota Vikings

When even subscription movie channels (Encore) cut scenes outta movies, as if it were regular tv.
Dammit, I pay for it, don't cut anything!!!Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Perhaps the scene was in the TV version only? Such as the brownie scene in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles? I don't think I have that backwards.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The movie Ace Ventura. There was a scene where Jim Carrey was pretending to be Snowflake's trainer to the press, so they wouldn't inquire about his disappearance.
This funny scene was cut.
As was, when Carrey drove to see Finkle, he stops at a roadside bar first. That scene was also cut.
This is what I'm talking about...Comment

There's multiple versions of every movie, there's theater versions, uncut versions, television versions.--

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I understand regular tv doing this (edited for time, etc.)
I expect to see the uncut theatrical release...Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
How does it have nothing to do with Encore if they are choosing a television version over an uncut theatrical version?Comment
-
Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
They're putting the theatrical version on, which is normal.
You don't see anybody playing uncut version of movies.
Edit: Also, to answer your question that I obviously didn't answer.. It's the Movie Studios decision on what movie gets played on the premium channels.Last edited by bigbob; 02-24-2013, 07:10 PM.--

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
This doesn't grind my gears as I find it rather enjoyable to troll the less 'formidable' minds on facebook, but the fact that political arguments on facebook basically hinge on meme's is pretty disheartening. But its made hilarious when these bozos act like they know whats going on.
