"Okay, first pitch. I am NOT going to swing at it, no matter where it is!"
Pitch crosses the plate, catcher catches it. SWING!

Disclaimer: I'm nitpicking.
a) The qualifying phrase, "while I don't always agree with person x, ....."
Who on Earth DO you always agree with?
b) when announcers say a player made a "touchdown saving tackle".

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Oh man, there are like kolache WARS down here. There are apparently two different ways to do it (don't ask me to describe the differences, I just eat the damn things), and the old Czech ladies in all these little towns do it one way or the other.
The ones who do it the "wrong" way (depends on which town you are in) might as well be convicted of crimes against humanity or something. It's actually pretty funny how serious they take itUniversity of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey
