I got my tonsils removed on Wednesday. Worst thing ever. Bad heartburn because I can't eat. I'm hungry and a constant sore throat.

Yea, I heard it gets much worse with age. I had mine out when I was 7. Was eating a hamburger and french fries on the way home. Still had a week off from school. Worked for me!Comment

I got my tonsils and adenoids taken out when I was in 6th grade and it was awful. Even eating small pieces of chicken felt like swallowing glass. I lost a bunch of weight cause I couldn't eat anything without crippling pain.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I got my wisdom teeth removed two years ago, it was great! I didn't feel any pain afterwards, I got ice cream, and all I had to do during basketball practice for a week was just shootTwitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I got my wisdom teeth removed a couple of years ago because the dentist said they are what was causing me pain. Little did I know, it was actually the tooth he filled a week earlier and packed the filling ON the nerve.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

I know I wasn't 15 or a girl. Pretty sure no one would have wanted to take advantage of me either if I was hammered when I was 15.Comment

When debating about the best pizza/tv show/beer/dish soap/etc:
"No way dude, _______ is the best pizza/tv show/beer/dish soap/etc on the planet!!!"
"Well, yeah, but that's just your opinion..."

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Why the sad face? If you haven't lost the tonsils yet, only way you'd have them gone is with an infection, no different than an appendix. I wouldn't worry about it.
As for wisdom teeth, again, consider yourself lucky. If you haven't had problems yet, it is much less likely you will. Not saying it is impossible, but once you pass 18-28, your teeth are good for awhile. Things can change, but again, wouldn't worry about it.
Not quite the same here... a sip and a 15-year old wasted are in 2 different universes.Comment

Speaking of these, they grind my gears. They do nothing for you until they start killing and then boom you're in surgery. So pointless, so painful. Ugh. Guy I know just had his taken out. Nearly had mine taken out a while ago."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
