Initials and a number is not a nickname.

First initial and shortening the players last name is not a nickname.

Isn't a nickname any name given to a person?

What's your definition of a nickname?

Although he's being picky, he's right in a way. A nickname is usually something like "Magic" or "The Glove", an actual descriptive word, not CP3.

Huh? Is that your actual definition?

What if somebody is a Jr? Like Paul Jr? Wouldn't his nickname be PJ?

A nickname is just a name somebody gives to a person. It doesn't have to be a "descriptive word" Maybe in sports, it should be, but it's not a general rule.

Is CP3 not a cool nickname? Of course not, it's very bland and not creative.

I want a nickname like Dunking Dutchman, or the Croatian Sensation.

But that doesn't mean Melo or Pip isn't a nickname.

Lol. The sound a bug makes when you squish it grinds your gears?

                #FirstWorldProblems indeed.

I can just imagine that water cooler talk right there.

                  It's the actual dictionary definition.

"a usually descriptive name given instead of or in addition to the one belonging to a person, place, or thing"

P.J. is really just an acronym of sorts. I wouldn't say NBA is a nickname. It's an acronym.

Melo and Pip like the case he was pointing out, just taking the first letter of names and calling it a nickname.

Next time pick it up and escort it outside. Otherwise learn to love the sound of bug anguish.

As long as they don't start making little death screams I'm ok with the pop/crunch.

Bjut right before eating? Yea I guess could see that turnoff.

I stepped on a scorpion on carpet Sunday night, put all my weight on that foot for 10 seconds, stepped off and the bugger kept running. Had to smear him a bit. Not fun lol

I'm getting used to it a bit, but not a fan of having to kill bugs. Scorpions crunch a bit.

I've made the decision to never live where scorpions could enter my house. Never.

I'm really surprised as to how many users are deathly afraid of bugs on OS.
