Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Horribly disorganized departments.
Just got an email reminder (implying they already informed me) about a meeting in an hour. I searched my e-mail high and low. Never a mention of any meeting today. I swear, those people you read who go postal on co-workers? They drive us to that behavior here.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
This is one of those gear grinding days. Add loud neighbors. I get back and promptly hear the loud bass of my neighbor's stereo at 11 in the ****ing morning. I guess better than 11 at night, but I shouldn't have to hear you period. I never have problems with the other neighbors, so I know the ability is there to quiet down. What sucks is I do a 3 strikes type deal. If I hear it 3 different times in like a week, I e-mail the property manager. Then the tenant just complains that they weren't really loud. Luckily by the time I say something, she has already heard from someone else so they are pretty much toast. What sucks is they never enforce the no-tolerance policy here because they don't want empty apartments, but it would be so much more peaceful.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
People talking to me about my lunch at work.
This carries over from a few years ago when I talked about this at my last job. Whenever I bring something decent someone's going to come get nosey about it and then say "OOh. where's mine at ?"
I just want to say,Spoiler"Well.. if it was up your *** you would know it".Comment

Seriously, though, I can see how that would be annoying if it happened everyday. My solution is to take the same boring sandwich for lunch every. single. day.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I hate when people spell Offense or Defense as Offence or Defence. Furthermore I hate when I correct them and they are like "old english is with a C" Especially when we are talking about sports because it isnt like they just decided to talk about the "Giants Defence", in old english.Comment

lol that was great! I always see the imaginary dunker. It's hilarious to hear all the excuses why he can't dunk, including "is this rim regulation?" lolNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Except in Britain and Canada, offence and defence are spelled that way. So it's not really incorrect. Would you correct someone who spelled center as centre? Color as colour?I hate when people spell Offense or Defense as Offence or Defence.
