When I'm boarding an airplane, searching for my seat. Hoping that a model is in the seat next to mine..
Row 17..18..19.. 20.
Some fat sweaty guy with hairy arms that takes up the entire armrest is in the seat that the model is supposed to be in.

First of the month title and vehicle inventory.
Also involves moving all soon to be shredded personal documents into the proper boxes and moving all of the month's deals and paperwork from filing cabinets into proper boxes.
Just... ugh.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
First time this ever happened to me was on the original gameboy color that required batteries. That piece of **** machine shut right off just as I got into Celadon city. I was so gotdamn mad
Now I make sure to save every 5-10 minutes no matter what it is. It's become an unbreakble habit. I be backseat saving on the low though.
I be like: "Did you save yet? You should save man, never know what could happen. I really think you should save here man. What happens if one of us dies? You know I suck at this game. Man save the game dammit!"

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
It wasnt even battery for me. I was fighting a tank that wasnt hitting me but had HP for dayz. So I just start tapping A nonstop and watching Fox Sports. So after 5 minutes I look at the screen and Im accidentally deleting a bread and butter move for my main pokemon. I was like **** that and turned it off to do that battle over again....but I hadnt saved since an hour prior (because I never turn off my DS really, just put it to sleep).First time this ever happened to me was on the original gameboy color that required batteries. I think the creator of this thread is a genius and I think he nailed the thread title.

lol, the thing about my Pokemon game I hated was how I actually did catch missingno lol. I was only like 6 or something back then so I didn't know it permanently ruined your future game saves(even if you started an entirely new game).First time this ever happened to me was on the original gameboy color that required batteries. Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Walking home from class to my car today, passed 2 guys and a girl sitting on the sidewalk. One playing guitar, the other two just sitting there. They were all probably 22-28, their sign said "Broke and hungry. Everything helps."
Now, I realize that I don't understand what their circumstances are, but they were sitting about 50 feet from an Ebert and Gerbert's with a "Help Wanted" sign up in the window. And about a block down the street is a McDonalds with this message under the arches "WE ARE NOW HIRING"
You're sitting there begging for money on a college campus. There are literally 100 fast food joints and restaurants within a mile of the spot they were sitting. Do not sit there and tell me you can't get a job.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Drives me nuts. I remember on PS2 I had an NCAAF game that would freeze at the loading screen after the game ended constantly. It got to the point where I had to reboot the system after every game or it would freeze after the second game.
It also seemed to have a higher likelihood of freezing after a huge upset or crazy statistical showing. When I'm all proud of it and sitting there fingers crossed that it won't freeze when I'm done. Then after I stare at the load screen for 20 minutes, convincing myself there's still a chance it'll work, I'll walk away and come back later, hoping somehow it snapped out of it during the day and all is well now. Nope. Maybe if I take the disc out and put it back in...
Spoiler
Nope

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
That happened to me last year with madden 13. I just completed all of my offseason moves in CC and I was ready to start the preseason and then I clicked on the game I was gonna play. It just froze and I got really pissed of cuz I spent an hour on all of the free agent signings and trades. After that I just deleted it and tried to forget about it since I was so pissed that I had to do everything over
