Is it bad that when she said that, it literally pissed me off. I take that shi serious, that's just not right in my mind. There should be a law against it haha. Unbelievable.

I know they're going for the tip, but I can't truly believe that they enjoy telling their life story over and over. I sure as hell know I don't like it. I just don't want them to think I'm a rude, unfriendly person because I'm not talking to them or I only answer their questions as they ask them.

The only difference would be if you go in there so regularly that you and your barber are friends and having an actual dialogue, or that you're describing how you want your hair actually cut or whatever.

I understand the job can be boring, and if you just cut people's hair then they paid you all day that you might crave conversation, but I'd prefer I sparked it, not them.
I hate small talk, I understand that people want to make conversation, and to be friendly I acknowledge them, but I hate it. What gets accomplished? So, do you like living in "insert town's name here" My reply, it's alright. So hows work? My reply; it's work I guess, it pays.

It's just really repetitive, and I always hated sitting at the dinner table, I'd rather watch tv or read a sports magazine, video game etc.. Then be asked "So how was school today? It sucked, same as everyday, why do you ask me this everyday?

The notion that a club with people on it who probably weren't even born last time the Pirates were in the playoffs would now be looking for revenge for something that happened like two decades ago?

Obviously I had to go and check the validity of this statement and the youngest player on the Pirates active roster is Gerrit Cole who just turned 23 a couple weeks ago so he would've been 2 when the Braves knocked the Bucs out of the NLCS in 1992. But yeah, I suppose the whole revenge angle is more for us fans than for the team itself.

The team WILL be looking for revenge on behalf of the fans. Players who don't feel any tie to the history of the team they play for would piss me off.

If some guy came in and didn't respect the history of one of my teams, I'd respect that player a lot less than I would otherwise.

Just like when I wanted the US/Russia to play in the 2012 Olympic basketball finals. People asked me "who cares? It's not like any of the players playing now played then." No, but are you like, completely devoid of historical understanding and what happened in the 1972 Olympics?

They were 7-4 last year and didn't make the playoffs and won't know just how good they are until they play some CAA games.

Akron at least beat their FCS opponent...
No. You're just jealous because Towson has surpassed the Blue Hens lol. But seriously, I would just like to clarify that while Towson went 7-4 last year, 2 of those losses were to LSU and Kent State, and I'm sure everyone remembers how easily LSU handled them (not). They were also CAA co-champs, and got totally shafted by not getting a playoff bid. I mean seriously, Villanova (one of the other CAA co-champions) got in the playoffs over Towson despite having lost to them that season. Garbage. I'm not bitter though.

They also made the playoffs on a 9-2 season two years ago.

Anyway, the point is it's pretty much unanimous that Towson is definitely a good team. No way you can hang the average tag on them. Delaware on the other hand, very average.

I'll agree Towson is an above average FCS team. As an aside, does anyone else hate these "FBS" and "FCS" monikers? Why couldn't we just stick with D1-A and D1-AA?

Whatever. Towson being above average for their conference doesn't make UConn any better, so that point still stands.
