I once made a post in The Show forum that was so long, halfway through it in the middle of a sentence I inserted: "I felt my cousin between her legs," and nobody ever made mention of it.

That was my ultimate test. You all failed.

Oh, and I can't approve of his post... it's not long enough.

EDIT: I forgot that I had immediately changed it to "I felt my cousin the other day" to avoid potential notings of... indiscrete behavior.

Haha I since changed it to "I felt my cousin the other day" just so the message wasn't as weird, but it was still eye-popping.

Story wasn't true. Probably would've made for another gear grinder of sorts if it was, though I don't quite know how yet.

Oh no, I didn't mean if the story itself was true, but rather the fact you put that line in the midst of a post to see if anyone was paying attention lol. Made me think of Seinfeld when Jerry was telling his friend Joel random stuff since he wasn't paying attention. Or even when Elaine was telling the guys about being selected for the new biosphere project as they watched the naked woman across the street

The second situation has the runner decide this action late, but never breaks stride in doing so. Yeah, the turn ends up being incredibly wide, but that would be the natural way to approach this. Slowing down to turn the corner is not a good form of baserunning, period. Whether that means slowing down with chop steps or running "in slow motion," this just doesn't seem like the right approach. I understand what SCEA wanted to go for by putting a system in place, but I don't think they're done with it. I don't expect patch work for something like this (as explained in the past it could be very difficult to get in without messing up another portion of the game), but if they continue to improve on this in future iterations, I felt my cousin the other day, and they can take this second scenario in a way which ties in baserunner attributes a little more to help the "better" runners in situations like this, then we wouldn't run into this kind of situation. The other thing they'll have to do is implement situation #1 more often, because that is the ideal way to be running from second base anyway.

Don't you mean "only to remember you ran out of milk"?

Speaking of sleep deprivation, I grind my own gears when it comes to not being able to fall asleep on cue, even when tired. When I most need or want sleep, I never get it. When I got GTA V, I tried to nap for two hours during the day. I ended up laying down with my eyes closed for 70 minutes before I felt like I was getting more tired doing that because I couldn't fall asleep, but I already felt super tired. It just wasn't healthy for me.

Or like right now for instance, I have an engagement I have to leave in an hour for. If I could sleep for forty minutes (so fall asleep within the next ten minutes), that would be awesome. But I can't. I just can't sleep when I want to, it's only when my body wants to.

On that same note, I can't sleep for more than six consecutive hours. I might be able to fall asleep again (good luck with that I say), but I couldn't ever go nine hours without waking up. Ever. Haven't slept nine hours in maybe nine years.
