Just read the runners around third post LMAO. I'm making sure I read all of Blzer's posts carefully now, that made me laugh out loud.

I can't stop reading that "people who don't do things fast" quote in a Zoolander voice.

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Laying in bed, just kind of laying there relaxing before I'm going to get up. Literally the instant I think to myself, "Alright, I should get up and shower" and crawl out of bed, I hear the bathroom door shut, and 3 seconds later the shower turns on. C'mon man!

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

This happens so many times among my co-workers and just infuriates me to the point I avoid talking to most of them now adays but:

When you're amongst 2 others that are conversation, and you want to interject and say something but you're waiting for that right moment where they pause... but it just doesn't happen as they keep going back and forth so by the time they are done yacking your point is irrelevant.

Or when you say something to someone, and they ignore you and continue on talking to someone else.

I hate the term "defenseless player" when a targeting penalty is called.

Oh the poor receiver was on the field butt-naked sans pads & helmet,
clad only in cleats & socks, completely defenseless.

When a channel is giving a marathon of a show, then one episode comes on that has a "to be continued..." in it, then the next episode they show IS NOT THE CONTINUED EPISODE.

                        I hate that!

Having to call work two hours before I go in, to see if they'll need me. That's what they call an on-call shift, it just sucks when I'm scheduled in at 10 so I have to wake up at 8. But I'm usually up at 7, then have to somehow wait until 8. The suspense kills me!

                              Some certain cereal commercials.

Apple Jacks. What is up with the parent always saying: "Why do you guys eat Apple Jacks? They don't taste like apple." What the **** does the cereal tasting like apple have anything to do with them wanting to eat it? The last I checked, apples are not the pinnacle of great tasting foods.

Trix. That damn rabbit needs to have some of his own cereal, and the kids gotta share. I'm fed up with those kids thinking it's cute to snatch the cereal away from him and do their "Thilly rabbit" routine. And he just takes it, too. As much as he deserves some, he's kind of whipped.

Then the changing of mascots and animation, or at least the worsening of them. Cookie Crisp definitely comes to mind here. There are others, but my mind is still on why the parents think Apple Jacks would be insurmountably more desired if they tasted like apple.

People "finding themselves" on their parent's dime.

                                Seems counter-intuitive.
