At a gas station when someone doesn't pull up to the pump in front, resulting in me having to go around and then reversing back into the spot in front of them. It would've taken pretty minimal effort to just pull up a few more feet.

When games have caps on the amount of save files you can have. If my playstation has 300GBs on it, I should be able to create a zillion save files.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Was he supposed to assume that you wanted 3 quarters back?
I mean, that's pretty random. Most people give change so they can get dollar bills back...not coins.
He should've thrown 4 dimes and 6 nickels and 5 pennies back at you laughing while you tried to pick them up off your car floor.
And yes normally, I'd rather get actual bills, but guess what? I didn't have 41 cents.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Nope what I meant was , in an effort to provide job opportunities to the youth of America, McDonald's tends to hire a lot of teenagers who still don't have the common sense to be a useful employee, leading to a bunch of boneheaded teenage stupidities in every McDonald's I've ever been too. Whenever I go to Burger King I tend to find more competent adult employees combined with at least a smarter group of young employees. I'm obviously talking about my own experiences but I hating go into a McDonald's and feeling like I'm watching a ninth grade class presentation on how not to run a business .

Anyways, last time I went in the same happened and I was putting together the complaint I was going to send in, in my head. Then five minutes later, I noticed the manager was sitting on the other side of the wall in the lobby crying into his hands with his father as he'd just found out his wife was leaving him.
I felt like a real bastard.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The last time I went to Burger King, it was for breakfast and I was formulating a complaint I was going to write in about their crummy customer service. Every time I'd stop in there, nobody would be at the register. So you had to wait 5-10 minutes for not only somebody to see you at the register, but for someone to value their job enough to actually come over and take your order. Usually it was the manager that ended up doing it.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When people think just cause they hate something, that means it should be universally hated.
EX-Someone doesn't like a TV show so they're like "Why is this show even on the air? It's garbage. Everything about the show sucks and it's one of the worst shows I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe the network even allows this show to air."........So just because that 1 person doesn't like it, they start acting like there's no logical explanation as to why others like it and that the show shouldn't even exist.
Same goes with other things like music, movies, food and abunch of other things. Acting like just cause they hate something, it shouldn't exist at all.Comment

I sometimes get irritated with that, but then I realize there could have been someone in from of them before they started pumping.YNWAComment

Really? It's the fact that he doesn't know how to count. I don't care if I had gotten back 75 pennies. Is it really that hard to do to count 16 cents, and then enter it in the machine?
And yes normally, I'd rather get actual bills, but guess what? I didn't have 41 cents.
Yes, he probably couldn't add well.
But you made an assumption and then got mad when he couldn't read your mind.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Once he does that, he enters it in the register.
The machine then AUTOMATICALLY dispenses the change for him. He doesn't have to count out the change. He doesn't need a TI-85 to do the math. All he has to do is push 4 buttons.
5. 1. 6. ENTER.
Is it really hard to count a nickel, dime, and a penny?Last edited by shugknight; 03-28-2014, 01:41 PM.Comment

Sounds like a hassle?? WTF? All he has to do is count 3 coins which is 16 cents.

lol, I didn't get mad because he couldn't read my mind. Like I said, if he gave me back 75 pennies, fine, I'll take it. I got mad at the fact it took him 5 minutes wondering why I gave him 16 cents.Comment
