People who talk on their phone while they are at the teller in the bank. Call them back when you're done. So irritating!Comment

This one always gets me. It's one of the most self-centered things you find in daily life. It's always the most asinine conversation that could take place at any other time too. Get off the phone and join society for 5 minutes out of your day, please.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
One I was thinking of yesterday - when people talk for other people that they don't know; especially the dead.
I like looking up old Metallica videos to find live concerts and stuff on youtube.
There's one inevitable thing you come across - people speaking for Cliff Burton. The speak for him on behalf of what Metallica has done over the last 15 or so years as if he was some sort of personal friend; always ranting on about how ashamed he'd be of the Black album and on and how he'd never have let them become what they did.
You don't know him. You don't know his personal thoughts. You don't know what he'd feel if he'd matured and aged. You don't know anything. Why not just replace "Cliff Burton would be" with "I'm so" and speak for yourself instead?
I can get people speaking for say their child, or for someone they knew really, really well -"they would have wanted this"... But for someone you knew nothing about other than what you saw in some interviews when they were alive?Comment

I can't stand this. Just use your damn headphones. No one cares what you are listening to or wants to hear it. Some people have zero courtesy in them.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Retired people or unemplyed people for that matter who insist on doing their banking, Post office runs, grocery shopping, etc. during the lunch hour.
You have all day to do this stuff. I have a half an hour. I usually work until 6 so the post offices and banks are closed when I get out. So I stand in line for 15 minutes behind a blue hair or someone that just rolled out of bed.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
To piggy back on that, people rushing to judgment based on a news article's headline. I don't know how many times I've corrected someone on Facebook when they repost a story, and how awful it is, and it turns out that they've only read the headline.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
here's a few that come to mind because i encounter them on a daily basis.
1. all bicycle riders who think they are the same as a vehicle; riding on busy streets with fast moving vehicles.
2. people who drive up to their mailbox and stop in the road to get their mail
3. school busses who expect you to stop if you are coming from the opposite direction @ 45mphComment
