I've always been like this and it drives my wife nuts.
I didn't when I was a kid. Now I'll eat anything left over. Something like lasagna taste the exact same reheated. It's definitely a mental thing.

Half of the time anymore I'm eating more leftovers than freshly cooked. Make lasagna one day, eat it reheated most of the rest of the week. Make a pot roast in the crock pot, make a beef pot pie on day 2 and make the rest into beef stew for a third day. Fire up the grill and make a dozen burgers then have them to heat up later, etc. I'm about to make a "mexican" casserole to have for the week.

Pot roasts and those types of meals get better as leftovers IMO.

this sentence grinds my gears lol. sooooooo many people use 'anymore' the way you just did... AND the whole 'half of the time i'm eating more leftovers' i dunno if there is actually a problem here... but the mere fact that i'm thinking about it is grinding my gears lol. its like the '90 percent of the game is half mental' type deal thats getting me

I use it for emphasis or sarcasm, but very sparingly.

When it's used in every post (or thread title) somebody makes, it gets annoying as hell.

I was/am the same way. Didn't like leftovers as a kid but now eat them all the time. Sometimes it's just a matter knowing knowing the correct way to prepare leftovers so they taste right. For instance, never heat leftover pizza in the microwave. Rather, I always heat it in my convection oven.

Either you are very tall or you frequent places with very low ceilings. Actually when I was still living in my moms old house my bedroom was the attic and the ceiling was at most 8' high. I had a ceiling fan that and would accidentally smack the lights when I walked under it in the act of putting on or taking off a shirt. Eventually the light part separated from the fan part and had to be replaced.

Do americans even speak English? I mean seriously, the amalgamation of dialects combining to form common speak is quite an abomination
