In fact, that's something that grinds MY gears. When people think that.
Especially when I'm an actual die hard fan. I've lived in North Jersey my entire life, and I'm a Cowboys fan. I'm not a fake fan. I watch every game when it is possible. I'm more of a fan than the fans of the teams from their own city.

That's definitely a gear grinder. How can I be a front runner? We haven't won anything since football and I started having an emotional relationship.

Yup. I root for teams from all over.

      Vols - my alma mater
49ers - lived in Northern California and my family knew the Montana family
Braves - grandparents lived in Atlanta and I'd go to Braves games with my grandfather
Penguins - other grandparents lived in Pittsburgh
Bulls - ... ok, yeah, I jumped on the bandwagon when Jordan was there and never left

And now I live in Alabama, but there's no way - NONE - that I will root for Alabama or Auburn.

This. I live in Portland...so people here think I should be rooting for the Sewer Pigeons. Gross. Worst part is, they force us to watch them. Thank Al Gore for the internet!

When fans talk out of their *** and predict their team to manhandle another and are right. Nothing like seeing a carried away fan have to eat the biggest crow to ever flap wings after the game.

Not really living in a city but being born and raised there. And not saying you cant root for other teams. To me rooting for a team and being a "fan" is different. Like I can "root" for the redsox to knock of the Yankees, that doesn't make me a redsox "fan".

The disparity between men's and women's business/professional attire. How can you take a talking head seriously when you ****ing see her mid-rift while she's raging about politics?

Seriously. Guys go on TV and are all uniformed with the shirts and ties. Women apparently go on TV and can dress like hookers; well her view point isn't so logical, but look at her legs!

I've lived in Kansas City since I was three and both of my parents are from here, but I don't give a flying **** about the Chiefs. Does that mean I'm not allowed to be a fan of any other football team?

A lot of times the best conversations when meeting new people is how they fell in love with their team.

Correct! Maybe it's just me but I could never imagine pulling for a team other than my home team regardless of how crappy they are.

Well, I was just naming a few bands that I actually "cared" about..

You will be surprised how many people born & raised in Chicago that are die hard Cowboy fans. From what I noticed, some people are fans of teams that their dad was a fan of, especially women.

                              I know one Cowboy fan.

                              I cannot verify your statement.
