I don't have the answer as to what the lowest age should be. My advice would be to wait until your at least 24 years old. You have already begun the process of establishing yourself professionally, had the time to really get out there and see what type of women the world has to offer.

Sure, there is no exact age because everyone is different, but I would strongly suggest against doing so if my younger brother had thoughts of going through with it.

Point is marriage can wait. No sense in rushing to get married when you're fresh out or still in college. Too much room left open for regrets later on down the line.

If you have the financial means to do so and you know you're with the person you want to be with, there is no reason to hold off starting your life together.

I'm not one for fooling around and "enjoying the single life" so if I could, I would.

Hell........I known a few people who legally got married at the age of 16 and purposely planned on starting a family that young. According to my friend who was the one who did it, it was her family tradition that been passed down for generations.

Sure times have changed, one doesn't need 8 kids to work on the family farm and the life expectancy is a hell of a lot longer, but hey some people still carry on that same mindset, especially in small towns. I live in a small town now of barely 15,000 people and they still carry on that tradition here.

You a woman over the age of 25 and you have no kids ? People out here will look at you like you got cooties and not a real woman. That is that small town mindset. Women are suppose to land a husband quickly after high school and start a family. Work and education isn't in their vocabulary.

Anyway.......new gear grinder. My friend daughter was bullied on the school bus today. So like a child suppose to do, she went into the school told the teacher. The teacher then told the girl oh you people throw around the word bullied too often. Name calling isn't being bullied.

Unless you were physically attacked, you can't say you were bullied. Words don't hurt. Just wow......

I hope that teacher gets fired

Kids should stand up for themselves. With the way the teachers are told to act nowadays, and the way the teachers tell the students to act, the best way is to just handle it yourself. Stand up for yourself, speak back, fight back if it's physical.

Teachers and administrators are ineffective and worthless, and often punish the one who's bullied for retaliating. Might as well make it worth it.

As someone in high school...

It depends on the severity. If it's name calling and teasing, you obviously have to stand up for yourself. But if it's getting to the point of physical abuse, you have to report it. I had to go through that with one of my friends. Wouldn't f*cking do anything about it, so I had to report it for them.

Over the age of 25 with a good job and no kids is considered a catch around here.

This girl I know has been with her boyfriend for 9 months and they are engaged, but don't plan on getting married until after they are done with school(currently sophomores).

I was engaged at 18 and married at 20. I couldn't be happier. I know it isn't common to get married as young as I did, but I don't think you can put an age on it. We know people who got married after us and they are in their 30's and 40's and they are already divorced.
