Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I don't agree about people with rashes. They have every right to wear what they want if they are secure about themselves.
I have a close friend with an enormous burn mark on his arm and it never stops him from wearing a t shirt. If you have a problem with them well thats your issue.
Now if said rash is contagious or dangerous then sure but otherwise do what you want. I'll get over my temporary astonishment/discomfort.Comment

Working at a club and hearing the same five songs, five times a night for up to 12 hours. Anyone wanna guess the 5?
Wish I had a soundproof office.

Those 4 mins, which seem like 4 days, of silence and anticipation after you've sent a risqué text.Comment

Women (for the millionth time.)
Why would you say yes to someone asking you out if you don't even want to text them, talk to them, or even hang out with them.
Say you'll get lunch with me tomorrow only to forget about it and go with your friends. That's alright.
Let's get dinner together and not speak to each other with your friends tagging along. That's fun.
Let me text you to see how you are doing only for you to not text me back for an hour. That's fun too.
That was the most awkward week of my life. I'm happy it's over.Last edited by sydrogerdavid; 11-02-2012, 10:59 PM.Comment

Having been in that situation, I can say that there's a decent chance that they're keeping the guy in question on, as How I Met Your Mother would put it, "The Hook." Keeping him around as a back-up option."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

I'm tired of hearing friends talk about "No Shave November" all the time. It's only the second..."The most amazing things that can happen to a human being will happen to you if you just lower your expectations."Comment

The NBA Forum.
I respect a lot of different guy's opinions on this forum and even some in the NBA forum, but there is a such thing as having too many strong opinions in one place. When it comes to comparing two players, it always becomes about Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant and not about the two people in question.
I do a lot of lurking and reading in there and there are some interesting debates and points being made, but It's almost a waste of time to give my opinion. There's too much of an age gap amongst guys and too much comparing to history and basketball played 20+ years ago.. The debates always end the same.

And..a lot of times when a girl is with you and brings her girlfriends along..she's just looking for their approval of you.
If you're going out with a girl for the first few times and she suggests to bring her friends along...call it off. Postpone it until it can just be the two of you.
A girl will act totally different when she's with a group of friends than when she's alone .
Sorry to hear about the run around she gave you. Just chalk it up to the game and keep it moving.Comment

She did not forget about it. Trust me.
