When every new released movie worth bothering to go see at the theater is "No Passes Allowed" What difference does it make if I use a pass? You already got the money up front when the passes were purchased? This happens all the time at our theaters. The "No Passes Allowed" is removed after the movie has been released for about 2 weeks. Stupid!Comment

The passes cost less than the regular tickets generally. Also, the theater makes profit on passes, but not on tickets, so the company that made the movie doesn't allow the passes so they can get the initial box office take. When you wait months for a game to get on sale, you see it for $35 on Amazon and think hmm, probably won't get any better then this and you buy it. Week or 2 later, that game is now $25 on Amazon.Comment

Believe me, I was pissed off. I complained and even tweeted the radio station that told me about them and told them to get rid of their stupid ad regarding them.
The company tweeted me back to send an email and luckily they gave me a refund.
