You would have loved some of the nurses at MEPS.
This one old lady was a straight up bitch about everything. I tried being nice to her even though she was a bitch and she got even worse.. lol.
Yahoo ? I've got over 10,000 games played on Yahoo. That was my **** when I was younger. I helped run a league that just disbanded last year. I quit playing several years ago, but I still kept up with some people.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
God bless you, Chase getting to see a nurse. I only seen a doctor at MEPs and it was "touch your toes and cough."
I paid my dues. 15+ months in deployments, E-5, PTSD, TBI, Infantry. I get so tired of walking into the VA and it either being some life time pencil pusher or military wife trying to talk to, and treat people however they want. I never throw my accolades on the table but sometimes I wish these people understood that they are servicing us, not the other way around. I could never imagine going into a residents room and making them think that they owe me.
I think a large problem with a majority of nurses is they're burnt out.5Comment

Staying up to do homework until the wee hours with a headache and a cold because your partner on the project you're doing is a complete idiot.
EDIT: Girls whom you've intentionally cut off contact with, and made it fairly apparent that that was your intention, yet continue to message you.Last edited by AC; 03-23-2013, 01:12 AM."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
League tournament advertisements went from several lines down to just two or three. I know I had mine down to just one line because the system would block you from lobbies and sometimes lockl the account it thought you were spamming.
I got into the whole thing back in 2001 when I was a kid. I was in a few monopoly ladders on games.com and then on to playsite.
They were a lot of fun and I thought it was the coolest thing at the time, especially at that age. Then I started playing Yahoo Pool and joined a league that just started in '02. That same league just shut it's doors last year and I spent years playing there and as an admin. I held the majority of the records in the league, including a 29 game win streak lol..
It was just a lot of fun at the time and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed talking to some random *** people across the country and world (co founders were Australian).
Most leagues are pretty lame at times because the way people act like they are some sort of dictator running a damn online pool league, but that league was actually a lot of fun and ran by a very mature group, including myself. We had weekly staff meetings and everything.
I went the whole nine yards with the platinum membership, yahoo all star, etc.. lol. I was all in and then as I got older and started going out more and driving and **** I stopped playing as much and stepped down as an admin and eventually just drifted away from the league.
If I had a decent PC right now, I would look back into it from time to time. To the average person most of it sounds like work and sounds pretty lame, but for the time and my age It was all really cool.Comment

For all of us contact wearers....
Getting anything in your eye... Eyelash, soap or even the smallest speck of dirt... And being in so much pain you want to rip your eyeball out...
Then those really painful ones where it hurts too much to open an eyelid to remedy the problem...

NBA players that seemingly refuse to learn to shoot free throws. Its one thing to come into the league a poor free throw guy but to retire the same terrible free throw guy grinds my gears.Comment
