I have the sudden urge to get my ears pierced

I don't have a clue as to why this is but wanted some thoughts and opinions. Anyone have their's done? Right now I'm looking at getting both done and just basic studs. Nothing too small that it's barely noticeable but nothing too flashy.

In the words of Nike, just do it. I only have my left ear pierced, but in the past I've had both pierced and had my cartilage pierced for a while as well (somehow I got away with that at Northwest Mutual). Just get something small and take care of it the first few weeks.

I only have my left ear pierced. It's a small diamond, and I think it looks neat-o-cool. I play baseball and I wear an Italian silver necklace and bracelet as well, so I think they all go together very well. I had a sudden urge before I got it done, too.

Don't know how the earring will fly in a courtroom. Have you ever had a professor or other lawyers say anything about it?

Currently, I have both ears pierced and my left cartilage pierced. The only advice is to take care of them for the first view weeks. I did but my excessive sweating and dirtiness while building homes still got it infected. I still have it in but it hurts like hell.

I personally do not like diamond studs, so I am gonna go with some larger flat black or gray ones. (like the ones will smith wore in I,Robot). During intramural volleyball, I actually collided with a teammate and broke my silver piercing stud, so I am going with some big black earrings that I stole from the sister until I have time to find some the ones I want.

No Jewlery for me...but it brings back a JV baseball memory. You weren't allowed to wear any type of jewlery during games, so before every game our assistant coach woud tell everyone "Git Rid of your Mr. T starter kits."

I wore it when I was clerking in the Juvenile Court, no one said a thing. I wear it at my clinic at WMLS, no one says a thing. Hell, one of the full time male lawyers wears multiple earrings and a paralegal has dreadlocks. At least in Western Mass, the culture is much more relaxed than you would think.

I'd never get earrings, the look of them on guys doesn't appeal to me, but I have nothing against them....I don't wear any other jewelry either, so maybe that's a part of it.

The only thing I have ever thought about piercing was my nipples and that was when I was a David Boston fan. It didn't take me long to realize that that was just weird.

I have never and will never pierce anything.

I got my ears pierced pretty suddenly when I did to, went over to my friends for a night of drinking and apparently his girlfriend thought I should have my ears pierced so in my drunken state I was easily persuaded and when I woke up the next day I had an ear ring in each ear. Apparently she just took the ear ring and pushed it through my ear to, no needles for me!

I have since taken them out and the holes have closed back up but I'm considering getting them pierced again, this time professionally, although she did a great job on them they were even and everything, amazing job considering she was drinking to.
