New Recliners
My girlfriend says I am an idiot for buying a microfiber recliner. The set I ended up buying was the Titan Microfiber with two connected recliners with a console, and then a couch with a recliner on each end. Ok now to the reason I was called an idiot, she seems to believe that microfiber is harder to clean than any other fabric. Can anyone confirm this? I mean I dont want something to spill on it and then once you clean it the fabric feel different. I did however get a stain warranty, but like with every other warranty it does not cover everything. Does anyone else have any microfiber furniture, if so I guess I am just looking for feedback.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: New Recliners
I have microfiber couches and was under the impression that they were easier to clean than most other materials. I haven't really spilled anything on them to test it out though.
edit - From Wikipedia:Microfibers used in table cloths, furniture, and car interiors are designed to repel liquids and consequently are difficult to stain. Microfiber table cloths will bead liquids until they are removed, they are often advertised showing red wine on a white table cloth that wipes clean with a paper towel. -
Re: New Recliners
I also have a microfiber couch and loveseat. Usually a towl with some cold water will get anything out.
There are a few marks from the movers knocking it against something, but other than that water seems to get out most anything.
Watch out if you have a cat though. The Microfiber doesn't seem to stand up well at all to claw marks. If they just claw it once, it gets little pucture holes.Comment

I tried it out in the store and all, but are they comfortable for long periods of time, like a 3 hour football game?Texas A&M Aggies
