10,009 Posts!

I always thought it was dumb to create a thread to celebrate a milestone post number. I mean...it's a post count. Nothing special. Just means you spend too much damn time on the internet when you could be doing something productive.

Then...I looked over at my post count and noticed I was up to...10,008. And I got kind of sad. Sad because I don't remember what my 10,000th post was.

So, as I celebrate my 10,009th post here on OS, I'd just like to say thanks to Steve for maintaining such a fun little cozy place on the web for all of us to frequent. Thanks to Clay, Shawn, Aaron, Squid, Mark, and the rest who have done such a great job covering and reviewing my favorite type of video game.

And most of all...thanks to all of you who refuse to allow me to forget the speedo and the Land Rover in the ocean (intercoastal waterway) incidents. I credit at least 1/5th of my posts to simply correcting you morons on the facts in the later. There IS a difference between an ocean and the intercoastal waterway. Go to the coast sometime. You'll see.

So now, I bring to a close my 10,009th post here on OS with one final thought. A semi-quote from one of my favorite ever Budweiser slogans...
