What is every body's opinion of Olive Garden?

I have always wanted to go there but my dad said the place absolutely sucked. So what are your opinions of the food there?

Olive Garden is basically Stouffer's frozen Italian food microwaved and served on nice plates. You're MUCH better off visiting a local Mom and Pop Italian restaurant where food is prepared fresh with real Italian recipes.

it was the spot I'd take girls on dates in college... it gave the impression of being fancy when it's really not. I like the food though, so I don't have a problem going there. But trust me, there are much better places out there to get some Italian food. Can't beat the breadsticks and salad deal though.

Agree. The breadsticks aren't bad but if you want Italian food, go to a real Italian restaurant.

They have some really good food(and some not so great food), but I would say they are average. Above average when it comes to chain rests. though.

It's okay, kind of expensive to me. I'd much rather go to Johnny Carino's or the local place here called Baris. Cheaper and much better food to me.
