The weird thing is this girl graduated 2 years before me from the same town, and she has a 9 year old daughter, who she just left for this 13 year old boy? Im sorry but these kind of people just need to go to jail forever.

Some people have some serious screws loose. BTW how the hell does a school justify hiring someone that seems to have a sketchy history like that? Wouldn't alarm bells be ringing in your head if you had a 25 yr old woman with a 9 yr old kid applying to be a teacher?

You can't discriminate against someone because they had a child as a teenager. Numerous things could be behind her having a child at such a young age which is really none of our business in my opinion, not trying to get smart but that should not stop someone from being a teacher, Lawyer, Doctor ect. That's true however there should be some precautions made IMO. I know it's sad to talk like this but it's the society we live in today. We can't be nearly as trusting as we were as a society 30-40 years ago.

I hate it personally but that's the way things are these days.

You really think it changed? This stuff happens 30 and 40 years ago too. The only difference were people didn't come forward and the media was no where near like they are today. Media is the reason this stuff is finally being brought to our attention. The only thing that has really changed in my opinion is kids killing kids with guns. That didn't happen too much 30 years ago. But molester has been around for a long time.

Not only that, but 30-40 years ago, none of us would have heard of this even if the guy was convicted. I live in Maryland, you're in Cali, SPTO is in Canda (?), and the story happened in Illinois. Now with the internet, something like this gets around.
