That's what my daughters want, so I think i'll get them that.

Then the wifey always gets them the usual clothes shoes jackets, etc..

What do you do when the kids start outgrowing toys and dolls?

Buy a shotgun so you can keep the boys away...

I've got to figure out what I'm getting Mom and Dad...we don't do really expensive stuff, so I more just have to look for cool little things they'll actually use.

Do you all think the HDMI cables make a difference in sound quality? I was thinking of getting some but darn they are like $100 for cables. If the difference is not that great I won't bother.

son wants everything he sees on TV. Transformers is the big thing now. He doesn't need anything though. With a birthday and xmas coming the next 2 months, going to have to clean out his toys.

wife: a vacuum and an ironing board. and a cook book.

I know what you mean about birthday and Christmas close by. My daughters birthday is a week before Christmas.

I got my mom tickets to see "Aflac Presents Brian Boitano Skating Spectacular". Barry Manilow is singing while Boitano skates on an ice sheet in the middle of the field. Its right up her ally. (Thankfully it happens while I'm still at school, so I get the kudos for the gift, without having to go to it. haha).

For my dad, I am thinking about getting him some personalized Nike iD shoes.

Just a heads up, if you are thinking of getting some Nike iD shoes made you better place the order real soon, when I worked for Nike they got so slammed during November that it wazs taking anywhere between 6-8 weeks for them to be created and delivered.

Thanks for the heads up! I figured I'd just give him the little card at X-mas and let him design it, then I'll do it online, so I can avoid a time issue hopefully!

Monoprice.com is your hero if you are looking to get an HDMI cable and not pay a crazy price for it.
