    Good/creative cubicle pranks???

Hey, one of my co-workers is going to be out of the office for a few days and I want to do something creative to her desk/cubicle. I don't want to do something too elaborate/expensive/time consuming. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

    Thanks.

Remove everything that is her's and put up some fake pictures and other stuff on the desk. You can do stuff to the computer, unplug the monitor from the port on the back, remove all or certain keys on the keyboard, etc. If the desk is enclosed, you can fill it with things. Also if there is something she always uses, you can take that and put it in jello.

All the ones I've participated were of the elaborate type, but if you're trying to get off relatively cheap/quick you can go the post-it way and get several packs of post-its and go to town on everything in site. It's not too time consuming and if you have a few days, you can do it when things slow down. You can also go the aluminum foil route and do the same, but with foil...a little more expensive.

If he has an enterance to the cube, fill cups with water and stack them so that he has to sit there and take them down individually.

From the office...stick some of his stuff in Jell-o.

Super Glue the stapler to the desk. I did it once and he never took it off now he just slides the paper in between. It was hilarious when he went to pick it up and it didnt move.

Take a screenshot of his desktop, hide all his desktop icons in some other folder on his hard drive, then set the new desktop wallpaper to be the screenshot you took......

I like this one. It'll take the person forever to figure it out.

LOL. That's pretty good. I may do that to my roommates.

Other ones I've seen either in person or documented online...

Use Saran Wrap or Plastic or something to seal the entry into their cube and then fill it with balloons or styrofoam peanuts. (seen online)

We've rotated my friend's room 90 degrees (moved his bed, couch, desk, etc). Seriously tripped him out...tougher for a cube, but offices it's possible.

Use post it notes to label everything...I mean everything....Phone, monitor, desk, pencil, cup, carpet, etc.

                        Wrap everything in tin foil.

Pick funny pictures, put them in a folder. Set up his screen saver to be the "Photo Album" using that directory. Password lock his screen saver to only something you know. (this one can be done to roommates using really nasty images as well, just don't do that at work). I did this to a roommate in college with some nasty images, was quite amusing (we always went back and forth with little pranks).

Put a fish in her drawer. That one is the best.
